I've been sitting here for about 30 minutes trying to wrap my brain around how I'm going to write this review, reflect on this story given the collective whole of it. In sum, I have a lot of issues. Just going to leave it as a "review to come." Can't really decide on a rating at this point.
Also, this is probably going to be a spoiler free review, but I'm going to tap dance around what this book did by making references to other media that did the same thing (and arguably better).
