Never mind, I take it back. Trent/Trenton's pretty much as bad as Travis.
Silly me for thinking this book might be an improvement. It's gone the route of petty drama yet again. I'll take a break in a little bit, but my brow's twitching at some of the stuff in here. I had a few moments in the beginning at the novel where I rolled my eyes, but the development was actually somewhat decent to start. Now I'm seeing the tell-tale punch happy bad boys and slut shaming.
And is there a Maddox boy that doesn't walk in on the heroine while she's in the bathroom? Not to mention use something cute as leverage for meeting up with the heroine (Travis uses a puppy, Trent uses a five year old girl who happens to be his neighbor)?
