A tip to any BBA author: doing this doesn't hurt, man. Seriously. Do it. You will be surprised just how much people will respect you for saying you're sorry and owning up to your mistakes (and meaning it).
And especially important: the art of having a conversation. Two way street, people. Listening to the concerns of the person (or people) you've wronged helps shed light on things and not only that, you might learn something.
It's unfortunate that many don't see it this way. (I had things to say over the Anne Rice situation this past week, but I think I'll leave that to possibly another post, because I'm still miffed about that but I couldn't respond because of reasons - too much going on.)
