Writing Problems Resolved (And it feels pretty good)

That awkward moment when you realize the major problem with the narrative you're composing lies in the delivery of the character's dialogue in one section of the work.  And you wondered why something about the story wasn't working and why your interest was waning versus the fire you started with.

I'm glad I figured this out, because I realized it was the thing that was bogging me down from being connected to the character in my novel. Once I started fixing it - it really made things a lot better.  I wonder how many other writers have this kind of "Aha!" moment when they go back through their narratives as they're editing.

So yeah, I'm writing tonight, and while it was slow going at first, I'm steamrolling now.

Happy reading/writing all.
