The Haven - Carol Lynch Williams

A good way into this book, and I'm still bored. =/

 

I'm just going to copy/pasta what I said in another measure about my problems with this book so far:

 

I think I know what's bothering me about this book so far. The building of the realm is too vague. I get there's probably a point to the establishment of the Terminals, but where I think it's suppose to be compelling that they're being suppressed in forms and (especially from the heroine) a longing to be more than that - I'm not convinced. The emotion feels displaced and contrived, over the top for what's shown.
