I felt her wave away the comment.  "Whatever. Be empowered.  Be your own woman.  But no matter how independent you are, now matter how much love you have for yourself, there's something only romance can make you feel."

 

Considering the pandering that Brooke's been making towards Natalie hooking up with someone and her "needing a man", I'm not okay with these comments.  Especially since it seems that Brooke is undermining Natalie's *choice* to be in any kind of relationship, let alone that she still seems to be telling Natalie that she needs a guy to hook up with.

 

What part of this is okay to tell young women?  I'm pissed.
