I always tell myself that I need to stop shadowreading between ten different books at one time because it always knocks me off schedule with some other reads I'm pursuing around the same time. Some get finished at the drop of a hat, others collect dust.
But the upside of things? I'm writing quite a bit. For some reason the book hopping/reading between many different stories is helping my writing mojo. I'm not entirely sure why that is, but I suspect it might have something to do with left brain/right brain writerly activities - which play into creativity and productivity.
I'm probably going to be back and forth reading things, but focusing more on writing on the WIPs today.
