The Reading Perusals of Rose Summers

I think this is the second or third time she's passed out and we're still early on in the book.

Come on, Riven.  If you're supposed to be a sympathetic being from the future and an assassin working for an important cause, you're not doing much for yourself to be worth sympathy.  Slut shaming the first girl you meet, mingling in a high school and complaining about it every step of the way, loosely drawing details for your "mission", generally sounding bitter about the whole process...it's just not working out for you very well.

And don't get me started on the male character who called his own girlfriend a b**ch.

This'll be a rough read, but I'm charging forward.  There has to be some silver lining to this.
