Goodness, I love this woman's writing. I want to savor it just as much as the apples on this cover (seriously, when I picked this book out of NetGalley, my eyes went straight to the apples on the table. Then I noticed there was a ring on the table and what it meant symbolically).
I'm not sure how I feel about Elizabeth, the protagonist. She's pretty sharp - meaning she's an art snob and quick on the draw for judgment. But her perspective, at least, is written well. Still reading.
