500 Poses for Photographing Brides: A Visual Sourcebook for Professional Digital Wedding Photographers

500 Poses for Photographing Brides: A Visual Sourcebook for Professional Digital Wedding Photographers - Michelle Perkins I do not claim to be a professional photographer in the slightest, but I did pick up this particular book for use as inspiration on a WIP I stalled on a while back which had to do with a photographer working a summer internship on an island. I love looking at pictures of wedding dresses, poses, among different models of many different backgrounds. This collection had a combination of stunning photographs as well as very awkward photos on the part of the poses and angles. The models were all fine, as far as I was concerned, but it was more of the photograph that didn't always capture the best depiction of what it could've for certain models. I wished, also, that there were a bit more photos of full dress poses, because some of the dresses seemed like they had beautiful detailing, but you couldn't really tell from the angle of the shot or the resolution. I was a little disappointed with some of offerings, admittedly, but I appreciated there were a diversity of subjects, that I could use some of the photos as inspiration, and that it was a quick perusal. I would guess, however, there are better compilations of wedding photography than this that can give you inspiration, but if you're looking for a wide range of references and you can find it in your local library or borrow it, it's worth looking into.
