Reading progress update: I've read 114 out of 238 pages.

Hello, I Love You: A Novel - Katie M. Stout

Grace, I was just starting to warm up to you and now you're hating on Korean dramas?

Korean DRAMAS?

Dude...I'm...what is this girl's problem? "They can't be that interesting." Are you for real?

This girl needs to watch some Kim Sam Soon or something, because it's ridiculous how much she's hating on this culture.

Some of you guys have probably been following my updates on this book on GR, but I'm going back and forth on this one.  Some of it is cute, I'll give it that, and the secondary cast has kept me reading this more than the protagonist has.  I'll say also that this could even be a story worth telling in manhwa form.  However, throughout most of this book, Grace comes across as a culturally insensitive person, and while in the back of my mind I'm thinking it's intentional, to me - there's also a point where it's testing my patience.

I'll let you guys know what I think when I finish it, hopefully tonight.
